Fairer retirement village laws are on their way, with the Cook Government's reforms to the Retirement Villages Act 1992 passing State Parliament.

The changes include a new time limit for exit payments to be made to departing residents.

FuelWatch reports that, from 6am tomorrow (Wednesday 11 December 2024), the average price of Perth’s regular unleaded petrol (ULP) will increase by 35 cents per litre (cpl) to 194.3 cpl with Caltex hiking up to 211.9 cpl; Ampol, EG Ampol, 7-Eleven, Coles Express/Reddy Express and BP up to 209.9 cpl; Vibe up to 209.7 cpl; and United up to 198.5 cpl.
