Effective 31 October 2020, new qualification requirements apply for anyone seeking sales representative registration or a real estate and business agent licence.
The requirements are taken from a national training package recently reviewed and updated by the Federal Government.

The options for reform have been developed through analysis of current business practices, industry compliance issues and the effectiveness of existing provisions regulating consignment agreements between motor vehicle dealers and consumers.
A review of the regulation of consignment sales under the Motor Vehicle Dealers Act 1973 (WA) has been completed by Consumer Protection.
The key purpose of the review was to consider whether the regulation of consignment sales should continue in its current form.
