New laws starting in September 2026
These forms are to be used from 1 September 2026. .They are available here to help you prepare:
- Exit entitlement statement - sample statement form. Operators must provide a resident with an exit entitlement statement when it is paid out. You can create your own form if it meets the legislation's requirements.
- Aged care payments - sample DAP form. Eligible residents will be able to request a portion of their exit entitlement to be paid directly towards aged care daily accommodation payments (DAP).
