Find and buy documents: AssociationsOnline help guide 5

Consumer Protection maintains a register of Western Australian incorporated associations. Anyone can search the register to find information about an incorporated association using AssociationsOnline.

The register displays basic information about an incorporated association including its:

Incorporated Association Registration Number (IARN)
Incorporated association’s name
Date of incorporation
Jurisdiction
Association status
a list of documents lodged with Consumer Protection that are available for purchase.

The register will not tell you if a proposed name for an association is available and can be registered.

Note: You can also see a list of pending cancellations at Closing an incorporated association.

Authorised representatives can obtain free copies of the current certificate of incorporation, and rules or purchase a replacement certificate of incorporation via their AssociationsOnline user accounts.

1. Visit AssociationsOnline at https://www.lgirs.wa.gov.au/associationsonline. To conduct a search within the Incorporated Association Search box on the homepage:
  - Enter the IARN (registration number) or Name of the incorporated association
  - Press Search to view the results
1. On the search results screen:
  - To view more information or purchase documents, click on the incorporated association's name to enable the Order Documents.
  - Press Order Documents to view and select the items to purchase.
1. To order documents from the selected incorporated association:
  - Click the + shopping cart icon next to the item that you would like to purchase. You can purchase multiple items via the same transaction.
  - After adding an item to your cart, the Checkout button will be enabled. Click Checkout to go to review the contents of your order.
  - If you want to purchase items from a different association, click Continue Shopping to perform a new search.
1. Review the products in your cart.
  - To remove an item from the cart, you can delete it by clicking on the -shopping cart icon to the right of the item.
  - Click Checkout to proceed to the next screen
1. Enter following details in the fields provided and press Checkout to proceed, or login to your AssociationsOnline user account:
  - Your full name
  - Your address, telephone and email address.
1. Review the payment details. Press Pay now to be redirected to the pay portal to make payment.
1. Enter your credit card details and press Pay now to process your purchase.
1. If payment is successful the confirmation screen will display your job reference number, the items you have purchased and your receipt.
  - All immediately available items and your receipt will be sent to your email address to save and print.
  - You can also download the payment receipt and immediately available items from this screen by clicking the Download or the arrow icons to the right of each item.
  - Items not immediately available will be queued processing. We usually need 21 working days to retrieve the items and email them to you.
1. Visit AssociationsOnline at https://www.lgirs.wa.gov.au/associationsonline and enter your email and password to login to your user account.
2. From your user homepage, click Applications.
1. Click the drop-down menu to the right of the name of the association that you want to obtain documents about, select download free documents and then click Go.
1. The screen will show some basic information about the association, including which type of rules the association is using and the current certificate and governing document.
  - You can also download any available items from this screen by clicking the Download or the arrow icons to the right of each item.
Note: Other documents, such as previous versions of the rules, or a replacement certificate are not freely available and must be purchased.
1. Visit AssociationsOnline at https://www.lgirs.wa.gov.au/associationsonline and enter your email and password to login to your user account.
2. From your user homepage, click the action drop-down menu to the right of the name of the association that you want to obtain documents about.
1. Select Order Associations documents.
2. Click the + shopping cart icon next to the item that you would like to purchase. You can purchase multiple items via the same transaction.
1. Click Checkout to review the contents of your order.
  - To remove an item from the cart, you can delete it by clicking on the -shopping cart icon to the right of the item.
1. Click Checkout to proceed to the next screen
  - If purchasing a replacement certificate, review and tick the declaration then press Checkout again.
1. Review the payment details. Press Pay now to be redirected to the pay portal to make payment.
2. Enter your credit card details and press Pay Now to process your purchase.
