Motorists in Perth and Mandurah are advised to fill up now if they need to, with petrol prices set to rise tomorrow. Drivers are also urged to only purchase the fuel they need to fill their vehicles, not to stockpile.
FuelWatch reports that, from 6am tomorrow (Wednesday 27 May 2026), the average price of Perth’s regular unleaded petrol (ULP) will increase by 9 cents per litre (cpl) to 186.2 cpl with BP hiking up to 204.9 cpl; 7-Eleven up to 203.9 cpl; Ampol and EG Ampol up to 199.9 cpl; and Caltex up to 189.9 cpl.
Despite the average hike tomorrow, there are still 29 individual sites offering ULP below 170 cpl, so consumers should check the FuelWatch website to find the lowest price near them. Buying fuel from the cheapest site rather than the most expensive, a difference of 49 cpl, means motorists can potentially save $29 on a 60-litre tank.
Tuesday’s cheapest ULP is available for:
- 169.5 cpl at Shell High Wycombe in the East;
- 169.3 cpl at Burk Cannington and Burk Oakford in the South; and
- 169.5 cpl at Liberty Banksia Grove, Liberty Landsdale and Liberty Tapping in the North.
Wednesday’s cheapest ULP will be available for:
- 169.3 cpl at Vibe Kalamunda and Vibe Toodyay Rd (Gidgegannup) in the East;
- 167.3 cpl at Burk Cannington and Burk Oakford in the South; and
- 167.3 cpl at Burk Bassendean and Burk Landsdale in the North.
