Motorists in Perth and Mandurah are advised to fill up now if they need to, with petrol prices set to rise tomorrow. After today motorists will likely have to wait a week before petrol prices are again at the bottom of the price cycle.
FuelWatch reports that, from 6am tomorrow (Wednesday 1 October 2025), the average price of Perth’s regular unleaded petrol (ULP) will increase by 17 cents per litre (cpl) to 184.5 cpl with BP hiking up to 209.9 cpl; Ampol up to 207.9 cpl; 7-Eleven and United up to 199.9 cpl; Vibe up to 199.7 cpl; and EG Ampol up to 189.9 cpl.
Despite the average hike tomorrow, there are still 24 individual sites offering ULP below 159 cpl, so consumers should check the FuelWatch website to find the lowest price near them. Buying fuel from the cheapest site rather than the most expensive, a difference of 57 cpl, means motorists can potentially save $34 on a 60-litre tank.
Tuesday’s cheapest ULP is available for:
- 156.9 cpl at EG Ampol Brabham in the East;
- 153.9 cpl at Vibe Oakford Truckstop in the South; and
- 155.3 cpl at Burk Alkimos, Burk Bassendean, Burk Landsdale, Burk Malaga and Burk Mount Lawley in the North.
Wednesday’s cheapest ULP will be available for:
- 158.3 cpl at Vibe Forrestfield and Vibe Mt Helena in the East;
- 152.2 cpl at Burk Oakford in the South; and
- 155.2 cpl at Vibe Wanneroo in the North.
