Motorists in Perth and Mandurah are advised to fill up now if they need to, with petrol prices set to rise tomorrow.
FuelWatch reports that, from 6am tomorrow (Wednesday 27 August 2025), the average price of Perth’s regular unleaded petrol (ULP) will increase by 27 cents per litre (cpl) to 188.6 cpl with Shell Reddy Express, Ampol and EG Ampol hiking up to 211.9 cpl; 7-Eleven and BP up to 209.9 cpl; Vibe up to 209.7 cpl; and United up to 202.9 cpl.
Despite the average hike tomorrow, there are still 22 individual sites offering ULP below 156 cpl, so consumers should check the FuelWatch website to find the lowest price near them. Buying fuel from the cheapest site rather than the most expensive, a difference of 72 cpl, means motorists can potentially save $43 on a 60-litre tank.
Tuesday’s cheapest ULP is available for:
- 155.7 cpl at Vibe Forrestfield and Vibe Mt Helena in the East;
- 142.5 cpl at Vibe Oakford Truckstop in the South; and
- 153.3 cpl at Burk Landsdale in the North.
Wednesday’s cheapest ULP will be available for:
- 156.9 cpl at FastFuel 24/7 in the East;
- 139.3 cpl at Burk Oakford in the South; and
- 153.3 cpl at Burk Landsdale in the North.
