Motorists in Perth and Mandurah are advised to fill up now if they need to, with petrol prices set to rise tomorrow. Drivers are also urged to only purchase the fuel they need to fill their vehicles, not to stockpile.
FuelWatch reports that, from 6am tomorrow (Wednesday 30 September 2026), the average price of Perth’s regular unleaded petrol (ULP) will increase by 12 cents per litre (cpl) to 238.5 cpl with Caltex up to 251.9 cpl; Ampol, EG Ampol, 7-Eleven and BP up to 249.9 cpl; and Shell Reddy Express up to 239.9 cpl.
Despite the average hike tomorrow, there are still 24 individual sites offering ULP below 222 cpl, so consumers should check the FuelWatch website to find the lowest price near them. Buying fuel from the cheapest site rather than the most expensive, a difference of 34 cpl, means motorists can potentially save $20 on a 60-litre tank.
Tuesday’s cheapest ULP is available for:
- 219.9 cpl at Ampol Foodary High Wycombe and EG Ampol Brabham in the East;
- 217.9 cpl at OTR Maddington in the South; and
- 219.3 cpl at Burk Bassendean and Burk Mount Lawley in the North.
Wednesday’s cheapest ULP will be available for:
- 222.2 cpl at Metro Midvale in the East;
- 217.7 cpl at Vibe Kwinana Town Centre in the South; and
- 219.2 cpl at Vibe Bayswater in the North.
