Motorists in Perth and Mandurah are advised to fill up now if they need to, with petrol prices set to rise tomorrow. Drivers are also urged to only purchase the fuel they need to fill their vehicles, not to stockpile.
FuelWatch reports that, from 6am tomorrow (Wednesday 29 July 2026), the average price of Perth’s regular unleaded petrol (ULP) will increase by over 12 cents per litre (cpl) to 196.5 cpl with 7-Eleven, Ampol, BP and EG Ampol hiking up to 209.9 cpl; and Caltex up to 203.9 cpl.
Despite the hike tomorrow, there are still 21 individual sites offering ULP below 178 cpl, so consumers should check the FuelWatch website to find the lowest price near them. Buying fuel from the cheapest site rather than the most expensive, a difference of 37 cpl, means motorists can potentially save $22 on a 60-litre tank.
Tuesday’s cheapest ULP is available for:
- 173.0 cpl at Chidlow Growers Mart Liquor Store in the East;
- 172.9 cpl at Vibe Kwinana Town Centre in the South; and
- 174.9 cpl at OMG Metro Dianella, OMG Metro Ocean Reef, Vibe Bayswater and Vibe Wanneroo in the North.
Wednesday’s cheapest ULP will be available for:
- 172.9 cpl at Vibe Forrestfield in the East;
- 172.9 cpl at Vibe Oakford Truckstop in the South; and
- 174.7 cpl at Vibe Bedford in the North.
