Family domestic violence tenancy laws review

Public consultation is now closed.  It makes up part of a review of the family domestic violence provisions included in:

  • Division 2A of the Residential Tenancies Act 1987 (WA); and
  • Division 3A and Division 4A of the Residential Parks (Long-stay Tenants) Act 2006 (WA).

The below information provides a description of activities which a Western Australia (WA) motor vehicle repairer registered since 24 September 2022 is permitted to perform. If you are a WA licensee visiting another state under AMR, you are only allowed to perform the activities listed below.

Changes to MVR regulations

On Saturday 24 September 2022, three changes to the Motor Vehicle Repairers Regulations came into effect to:

  • Introduce a new repair class for ‘wheel aligning, steering and suspension work’.
  • Remove the ‘driveline and transmission work’ class.
  • Update qualifications added to the AUR Training Package in 2020.
